We met John Allman via a co-worker who was building a retirement home in Whitewater Springs. John came out to our property in Smithwick to discuss our build. I could tell right away he was Straight Shooter. He suggested we come look at some other homes he was building which were still under construction to see the quality work of his tradespeople and to get ideas for our own home. He was also able to refer us to a couple of architects in the area.
Ground was broken in September of 2019 by pouring a 7550 sq ft (300 yards) concrete slab. John has a rule with his sub-contractors, they have to clean up their mess at the end of each day. You will never see a cleaner/safer job site. Each trade’s work was top notch. John and Aaron watch the build very closely, making suggestions as the build progresses.
This was the 2nd custom home we have built (JAC was not the builder on the first home) and by far the best building experience ever. Also, this was the first time we have built a house remotely, as we were living out of state at the time.
I would like to add that John/Aaron have checked in with us a few times since we moved in to make sure all is well. We HIGHLY recommend John Allam Construction to build your next home. You will not be disappointed.
